REQUIREMENTS The only requirement is Kickstart 3 or higher. SRename can also run on OS 4 systems as a 68K task. Typical memory usage is around 200-300 Kb but can be higher depending on the number of rename operations and whether recursion is used or not. Installation Copy the SRename binary to C: or anywhere else in the command path. The 68000 binary can be used with any CPU while the 68020 binary requires a 32-bit CPU. OS 4 users should install the 68020 binary as OS 4 emulates a 68020 CPU for 68K compatibility. Directory Opus 5 users should also install the supplied button bank that provides many specialized rename operations.
